What Part B Does Not Cover

Part B covers most necessary outpatient medical services, but there are some services that patients might want that it does not cover. Specifically, Part B does not cover prescription drugs, cosmetic procedures, dental needs like dentures, hearing aids, routine foot exams, vision needs, and long-term care needs. These services are also not covered by Part A.

Coverage Options

If these needs are not covered by Part A or Part B, you may be wondering what your options are. Fortunately, there are other parts of Medicare that may address these needs. For example, Part D covers prescription drug coverage while some Medicare Advantage Plans cover dental and vision services. Contact Temmen Insurance to understand your benefit options today.
